Error compensation inside

A feature frequently requested by customers is now available directly in the EAGLE controller: the linear thermal expansion correction of scales, as well as the common linearity and squareness errors can now be corrected already inside the controller. The main advantage for the user is that all client applications that connect to the controller see the same compensated coordinates.

For those customers who require higher accuracy, the full 21-parameter error model (including roll, pitch, yaw errors) is available through our driver-based solution. Various machine kinematic chains, such as the axis configurations Y-X-Z, X-Y-Z and X-Z-Y, are now supported.

The GEC Wizard in Pantec’s Support.Tool provides a convenient tool to determine error parameters and store the corresponding data files in the controller as well as on the host PC.
